Victron Energy Blue Smart IP22 12V 30A 3-Bank Battery Charger

The Victron Blue Smart IP22 is a 30A, 3-bank battery charger with built-in Bluetooth, suited to workshop use as well as onboard cars, motorbikes, boats, and camper-vans.

Bluetooth Smart

Bluetooth lets you monitor voltage and current, change settings, and update the charger wirelessly as new features become available, without needing to physically access the unit.

High Efficiency

With up to 94% efficiency, the charger generates up to four times less heat than the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power draw drops to just 0.5W, five to ten times lower than typical chargers.

Adaptive 6-Stage Charging

A microprocessor-controlled charge algorithm runs through test, bulk, absorption, recondition, float, and storage stages, automatically adapting to how the battery is being used.

Storage Mode

If the battery hasn't been discharged in 24 hours, the charger switches to storage mode, lowering float voltage to 13.2V (for a 12V battery) to reduce gassing and corrosion. Once a week it raises the voltage back to the absorption level to equalize the battery and help prevent stratification and sulfation.

Additional Features

The charger also handles Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries using a bulk-absorption-float algorithm. A NIGHT/LOW setting cuts output to a maximum of 50% for quiet, low-power charging, with NIGHT mode ending automatically after 8 hours. Output current is reduced as temperature rises toward 50°C to protect against overheating, and eleven LEDs indicate charge stage and status.
