Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15A Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger

The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/24-15A is a Bluetooth-enabled, non-isolated DC-DC battery charger designed to charge a 24V auxiliary battery bank from a 12V starter system. Delivering up to 15A and 360W at 40°C, it is suitable for marine, RV, van and vehicle installations requiring dependable alternator charging.

Its fully programmable three-stage charging algorithm can be configured for lead-acid and lithium batteries through the VictronConnect app. Built-in Bluetooth provides convenient access to charging settings, input and output voltage, charger status and other operating information from a compatible phone or tablet.

Intelligent engine-running detection allows the charger to operate without a separate ignition-control wire in many installations. The charger can also be switched remotely using its remote on/off connection.

The Orion-Tr Smart can operate as either a three-stage battery charger or a regulated DC power supply. Multiple compatible units may be connected in parallel when additional charging output is required.

This is a non-isolated model, meaning the input and output share a common negative connection.

Important compatibility note:

This charger is for charging a 24V auxiliary battery from a 12V electrical system. It is non-isolated, so the starter and auxiliary systems share a common negative connection. Choose an isolated model if galvanic separation is required.

The Orion-Tr Smart does not have a VE.Direct or VE.Can communication port. Bluetooth is used for local monitoring and configuration through VictronConnect.
