The Victron Lynx Smart BMS NG is a Battery Management System built specifically for Victron Lithium NG batteries (LiFePO4), available in 12.8V, 25.6V, and 51.2V variants. Up to 50 batteries can be combined in series, parallel, or series/parallel to build 12V, 24V, or 48V banks — up to 192kWh in a 12V system and up to 384kWh in a 24V or 48V system.

This is the 500A (M10) version, with a built-in contactor that acts as a secondary safety system if primary controls (ATC, ATD, and/or DVCC) fail, and can serve as a remote-controllable main system switch. It integrates with other M10 products in the Lynx Distributor system.

Key Features

  • Pre-charge circuit prevents high inrush currents with capacitive loads like inverters, removing the need for external pre-charging devices
  • Bluetooth connectivity via the VictronConnect App, or VE.Can connectivity with GX devices like the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX and the VRM portal
  • Built-in battery monitor shows state of charge, voltage, current, and historical data in real time, with Instant Readout for quick diagnostics
  • DVCC closed-loop control automatically manages compatible Victron inverter/chargers, the Orion XS 12/12-50A DC-DC charger, and solar charge controllers via a connected GX device; ATC/ATD contacts can control other chargers and loads with a remote on/off port
  • Programmable relay can act as an alarm relay or control an alternator via its external regulator, with an Alternator ATC mode for safe disconnection
  • AUX terminal provides onboard auxiliary power (1.1A at system voltage) for loads like a GX device after BMS shutdown, with automatic shutdown if no charge voltage is detected within 5 minutes of a low-voltage event
  • VE.Can and NMEA 2000 data communication with GX devices and marine networks (NMEA 2000 requires a VE.Can to NMEA 2000 micro-C male cable)
  • Monitors fuse status on up to 4 connected Lynx Distributors, with alarms for blown fuses
