Description
Sikaflex – 291 is a fast-curing, one-part, multipurpose, polyurethane marine sealant/adhesive. The highest tensile strength of the Sikaflex series, suitable for bonding hull to deck and exterior structural members. Tack free in 1/2 to 1 hour and final cure achieved in 3 days.
Not recommended as a deck seam sealer.
Fast Cure Marine Adhesive Sealant 300 ml Cartridge. It is a one component marine grade polyurethane elastomeric adhesive and sealant. Used by many boat builders, its fast cure time makes it ideal for applications where speed is important.
It bonds extremely well to the materials commonly used in marine construction like wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-Component systems), ceramic materials and plastics (GRP, etc.).
Must not be used to seal plastics that are prone to stress cracking (e.g. Plexiglas, polycarbonate, etc.).
